3 Club Competition draw.

  • The 3 Club (3 clubs + putter) event takes place on February 25/27/28/March 1 over Seafield golf course from the RED tees and the draw is as follows: Wednesday game is I Young, S Smith, J Burnett, S Kelly; Friday game is P Cavanagh, G Cavanagh, R Lees; Saturday game is T Bloor, M Mancini, S Kirk, A Muir; Sunday game is R Gilchrist, D Edgar, M Duffy. Members are reminded that the reserve list has been withdrawn and anyone who wishes to be added to a playing day must contact John Brodie before putting their name into BRS. Anyone who fails to do this will be disqualified and charged the entry fee for the event. Members are also reminded that the Two's event is suspended during the Winter months (Oct-March) due to the use of temporary tees and greens and good luck to everyone taking part.

    • February Medal results.

  • The February Medal took place on February 11/13/14/15 over Seafield golf course from the RED tees with 16 members looking to win the Monthly event and qualify for the end of season Medal Final in September. Due to a combination of weather conditions including temporary greens on one of our playing days, scoring was inconsistant with only 6 rounds of par or better. In 3rd spot was Ronnie Lees continuing his recent run of good form with his round including birides at holes 6/17 as he fired a nett 65 for 4 under par. Making his debut this season and finishing runner-up, was David Jones and his round featured a birdie at hole 17 but the highlight was his eagle two at hole 14 as he also finished with a nett 65 to pip Ronnie on countback. Our clear winner this week firing the best gross score of 67 (2 under par) and featuring birdies at holes 4/5/13/17/18 was Alan Muir as he fired a nett 61 (8 under par) for a 4 shot margin of victory and to claim his place in the Medal Finals later in the season.

    • Winter League 5 draw.

  • The final Winter League event takes place on February 18/20/21/22 over Fullarton golf course from the RED tees and the draw is as follows: Wednesday game is I Young, S Smith, J Burnett, S Kelly; Friday game is P Cavanagh, G Cavanagh, R Lees; Saturday game is T Bloor, M Mancini, S Kirk, A Muir; Sunday game 1 is K Bendall, J Goodlet, R McDonald; game 2 is R Gilchrist, D Edgar, I Speirs, M Duffy. Members are reminded that the reserve list has been withdrawn and anyone who wishes to be added to a playing day must contact John Brodie before putting their name into BRS. Anyone who fails to do this will be disqualified and charged the entry fee for the event. Members are also reminded that the Two's event is suspended during the Winter months (Oct-March) due to the use of temporary tees and greens. The leaderboard for this event currently sees James Burnett in front being chased by Stephen Kelly, Gerry Cavanagh, Mark Mancini and Ian Speirs with only 10pts between 1st and 5th and good luck to everyone taking part.

  • Please refer to the email instruction sent out on 10/08/20. If members require further assistance in this matter they should contact John Brodie (Secretary).

    • Amendment to procedure

  • Following 2 incidents where a member was left without a game, the following procedure must now be followed by all players who pull out of a game after the draw has been made. It is now a requirement that the player pulling out contacts EVERYONE PLAYING IN THE GROUP to inform them. This should happen as a common courtesy but clearly has not been.
